Heating products manufacturer Stiebel Eltron UK has expanded its team following a year of strong growth with the appointment of Andrew Buttree as UK key account manager for merchants.

Andrew has 17 years of experience within the merchant sector, specifically within the plumbing and heating industry. He will focus on targeting business growth and awareness amongst small, medium and national UK merchants, particularly in the electric heating ranges that Stiebel Eltron offer. This is alongside working with architects and developers to create new specifications for the market to increase the firm's presence in the UK’s growing residential development sector.
Andrew said: “It’s a fantastic time to be joining an established and trusted organisation like Stiebel Eltron. There is real potential for expansion in the UK heating products market, particularly with the continued popularity of city centre PRS and student accommodation developments.”

Stiebel Eltron UK, based in the Wirral, is a leading provider of heating and renewable energy systems, working with a network of installers across the country. This year has seen the company expand its product range to include the WPL Classic air source heat pump and the HSBC buffer cylinder, following an 8% increase in turnover and a doubling of profits in 2016.

Mark McManus, Stiebel Eltron UK Managing Director, said: “Andrew has fantastic experience in the industry and a wealth of invaluable contacts in the sector. He will be a key contributor to the ambitious expansion plans that we have for the future and his appointment stands us in good stead to build on the strong growth figures we recorded in 2016.”
